Wright County Children’s Home is a private not-for-profit children’s shelter which provides temporary emergency residential care for children ages 6-18 who find themselves in the unfortunate situation of being removed from their home due to abuse, neglect, drugs, or other reasons.
We are licensed by the Missouri Department of Social Services Children’s Division and can take children from every county in the state. We only admit children who are currently in the legal custody of the state of Missouri. We work closely with the child’s caseworker and the treatment team to find a long-term or permanent placement for each child.
